How did you learn about the KBEP?

I learned about the KBEP through a friend who knew about this program and suggested that I look up their mission. Once I realized that the KBEP is a program that I wanted to get involved in, I began to inquire more about their educator position.

What is your favorite thing about working at the KBEP?

My favorite thing about working here at the KBEP is being able to teach violence prevention program to fourth and fifth graders.

Why do you feel like relationship violence prevention is so important?

Relationship violence prevention is something that is extremely important to talk about. Violence is something that is plaguing our communities and unfortunately, it can start through the habits that we learn at a very young age. Relationship violence needs to be prevented and it is important for all of us to have a conversation on understanding the different types of violence and ways that we can prevent it. It is also important for everyone to know what a healthy relationship is.

What was your favorite subject in high school?

My favorite subject in high school was World Languages.

What is your favorite sports team and why?

My favorite sports team are the Atlanta Falcons. I grew up watching the Falcons in the ’90s and have been a fan of that team ever since.

Do you have any pets? What’s your favorite part about them?

I don’t currently have any pets but I used to have two cats ages 2 and 10. I have always been a cat person.
