KBEP seeks Community Engagement Intern!
Community Engagement Internship
KBEP is currently seeking an intern to increase the organization’s community relations. Community engagement interns will increase awareness about relationship violence prevention by attending violence prevention awareness events, community events, and fundraisers as a representative of the KBEP.
Requirements: Candidates must have evening availability. Reliable transportation to the office or any event is a requirement. Candidates must have excellent communication and organizational skills, and the ability to be a supportive and flexible team member. Candidates must possess a strong passion for doing violence prevention work, as well as an interest in working with youth.
Time Commitment: Internships at KBEP are available during Fall and Spring semesters. Our typical office hours are Monday-Friday from 7:30am -3:30pm, which may vary slightly. There will be evening or weekend events, as well as a possibility of completing work hours from a remote location, which can be done at any time.
